Very interesting read, as is another book by Greg Ahlgren, co-authored with Stephen Monier, based on true facts, CRIME OF THE CENTURY, The Lindbergh Kidnapping Hoax. That book rather confirmed my own suspicions but which I never spoke of because it's not the popular opinion of that crime. Prologue, is not based on a true story so there is no preconceived notions about it. It's always thought provoking to think about the "what ifs" in history. This is a story that tells it well.

Part science fiction, part history, this is a fascinating read! Greg Ahlgren has spun an alternative tale of an America which lost the Cold War. But a small band of patriots devise a scheme to travel into the past, in order to change their destiny. Full of twists and turns, this book is fast paced and well written. A must buy.
The writing is crisp and clear and the story-line is novel and intriguing) While the opening chapters contain a fair bit of background, once the story gets going it's action packed. Definitely a fun read for anyone interested in the Cold War, alternate history, or time travel.
